Founded by The Order of the Eastern Star (OES), Ethan Place has proudly been serving Rhode Island senior citizens for 55 years by providing a safe, comfortable environment to call home. OES,Inc. is a nonprofit, nonsectarian assisted living community which is fully licensed by the RI Department of Health.
We are a Residential Care Community that emphasizes Assisting our residents with carrying out their daily living routines rather than assuming the primary role of performing daily tasks for them. This model is designed for seniors needing help with basic daily activities and not meant for individuals requiring nursing home services. Some of the personal support services we provide include medication administration, nourishing meals, housekeeping, laundering, and shopping. Our highly qualified staff consists of an Administrator, a Wellness Director who holds an RN license, Caregivers, Medication Technicians, Certified Nursing Assistants, Certified Food Safety Managers, an Activities Director, Housekeepers, and an on call Registered Nurse.
